ABOUT DMPS

"Formed in the spirit of dynamic growth, social justice and intellectual pursuits."

In response to a long cherished desire of the residents of Modinagar and its surrounding the Late Rai Bahadur Gujar Mal Modi (Padam Bhushan) a well known Industrialist, Philanthropist, a man devoted to Education, founded this co-educational institution after the name of his wife Mrs. Dayawati Modi a great lover of education herself, who was the President of the Board of Education of the school. The School was formally inaugurated on the 17th Feb. 1973 by Mrs. Marjory Gregory, wife of the President of Rohm & Hass Co. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. The School is a member of National Progressive School Conference (NPSC) and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Situated on Hapur Road, opposite Modipon ltd. the school is housed in a double story building with 58 commodious class rooms, well equipped Biology, Chemistry and Physics Laboratories, a library cum reading room, an art room, recreation room, Music room, Home science Laboratory, Electronics room and Photography and Computer Laboratories. A separate activity building also exists. The Junior School building, situated a little away from the main building, provides an ideal atmosphere for the tiny-tots. It comprises of 30 rooms. The foundation stone was laid on 7th Dec. 1979 by Mr. Harnish Maxwell, President Philip Morries International, U.S.A.

* Promote intellectual curiosity by offering enrichment opportunities that focus on skills, concepts and themes
* Encourage different learning styles by teaching individually, in small groups, by class or with the whole school
